This policy describes how cancellations and refunds are handled once an engagement begins. Because work is billed against progress, any refund is calculated on the value of the work completed and costs committed at the point of cancellation.
Design phase
If you cancel during the design phase, a refund is provided for any unused, pre-paid design work. Work already delivered — for example completed drawings or a finished proposal — is charged for the value it represents at the point of cancellation.
Procurement and orders
Items ordered on your behalf (furniture, materials, bespoke joinery) are governed by the supplier's own terms. Once an order is placed or made-to-order work begins, it generally cannot be cancelled or refunded, and any such cost is passed on directly.
Revisions and satisfaction
If a deliverable does not meet the scope agreed in the proposal, we will correct it through the agreed revision rounds at no additional cost. Refunds are not offered simply for a change of mind once design work has been delivered and approved.
How to cancel
To cancel an engagement, contact the studio in writing through the details on the contact page. We will confirm what has been completed, what has been committed, and the refund amount that applies within a reasonable time.
