These terms set out the basis on which Celestial Interior provides interior design services. By engaging the studio you agree to the conditions described here, alongside the specific scope confirmed in your written proposal.
Proposals and scope
Every engagement begins with a written proposal that fixes the scope of work, deliverables, timeline and fees. Work begins only after the proposal has been signed and any initial payment has been received.
Payments and milestones
- Fees and payment milestones are stated in the proposal and invoiced as the work progresses
- Payments are due as agreed; suspended work resumes once the outstanding amount is settled
- Any agreed additional work beyond the original scope is quoted before it begins
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide timely decisions, access to the property where needed and accurate information about your requirements. Delays caused by outstanding decisions or site access may shift the agreed timeline accordingly.
Intellectual property
Design work remains the intellectual property of the studio until final payment is received. Once settled, you may use the designs for the purpose of your project; the studio retains the right to use images and drawings for its portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
Limitation of liability
The studio's liability is limited to the fees paid for the services concerned and excludes indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the studio operates, and any disputes are subject to that jurisdiction's courts.
